WHO I AM

I’ve spent my entire life in the Pacific Northwest, growing up in Portland, Oregon, and studying for a year at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC.

From a young age, I’ve had an engineering mindset—whether it was building Lego Mindstorms robots or taking apart my parents’ electronics to understand how they worked (and sometimes not putting them back together).

Hockey has been a constant in my life for nearly 20 years. The travel that comes with the sport—long drives between cities and competitions—gave me a deep appreciation for the Northwest and the environments I grew up in.

Alongside hockey, I’ve always had a strong passion for video games. I spent countless hours playing World of Warcraft growing up, which sparked my interest in the systems and design behind the games I loved - leading me to pursue a career in the development world.
