I’ve lived my entire life in around the NW, mainly in Portland but also did a stint living near Seattle and Vancouver BC.
I spent a year studying environmental sciences at the University of British Columbia, but my passion for software development ultimately led me down a different path - leading me to pursue computer science at the University of Portland.
From a young age, I’ve always had an engineering mindset, tinkering with Lego Mindstorm robots and breaking apart too many of my parent's electronics to figure out how they worked.
Hockey has and always will be a huge part of my life, and I’ve played since I was 4 years old. For hockey, a large part of the game is travelling to compete - which led me to fall in love with the northwest on long drives to other cities.
Along with hockey, I share the same passion for Video Games. I spent who knows how many hours in World of Warcraft growing up, often sharing a computer with my sister and dad. As I got older, my love for gaming continued - and now I'm working on my own game!
From spending my childhood obsessed with video games and technology as a whole, I am excited to see what's in store for my future in software development!
